HERNANDEZ TO MAKE DEBUT AGAINST ALAVES

Mexico forward Javier Hernandez could be inline to make his debut for new club Sevilla in their clash away to Alaves. The 31-year-old made the switch to Seville from West Ham on deadline day in what was one of the steals of the transfer window.

Hernandez has enjoyed a good career with spells at Manchester United where he established himself as a poacher forward. He also had success in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen before moving to West Ham.

He would be hoping to have a better impact at Sevilla than what he had at West Ham and Alaves could provide the right platform for the clinical forward.

Meanwhile,Real Madrid have been hit with an injury blow with Croatian ace Luka Modric the latest player to hit the treatment table.

Modric has a muscular lesion in the adductor of the right leg according to tests performed by the medical team of Real Madrid.
What is certain is that the Croatian player will be out against Levante and most likely unavailable for the game against PSG.

The midfielder played 90 minutes with his Croatia last Monday in Azerbaijan, on the day of his 34th birthday. He also played on Friday, September 6 against Slovakia.

It was revealed on Wednesday that he did not train with the rest of the team and worked out in the gym.

The loss of the Croatian midfielder adds another problem for the coach,Zinedine Zidane , who is also without Isco while Colombian ace James Rodriguez is not yet matching fit.
