JAVIER HERNANDEZ MEETS NFL STAR JJ WATT

Former Real Madrid and Manchester United point man, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez was visibly thrilled when he met with NFL star JJ Watt.

The Mexican star player met Watt with the rest of the Mexican national team when they trained in the Houston Texans facility on Wednesday. Most of the players tossed around the ol' American pigskin as the coaching staff wanting to avoid the field at NRG Stadium.

It didn’t take long for the Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt to join up with the El Tri. At the end of the session, the star player took time out to partake in a photography session with the overjoyed players. Chicharito couldn't hide his excitement to meet one of the NFL's best players.

Chicharito told the player: “Nice to see you. I'm a really big fan,” and the football player replied: “I'm a really big fan of yours as well.”

The NFL star extended an invitation to Chicharito to the Texans' game at Estadio Azteca in the upcoming season on November 21. Chicharito would likely not honour the invitation as he supports the Texans' opponent in that contest, the Oakland Raiders. The invitation also conflicts with a potential Bayer Leverkusen match on that date.

Chicharito moved to Germany when the former coach of The Red Devils where he played, Louis van Gaal didn’t have much in his plan. He went on become a hit in the German Bundesliga. In the last campaign, he scored 17 crucial goals for the club in 28 appearances. His total tally was 26 as he scored five in the UEFA Champions League before they were knocked out and four goals in the German DFB Pokal. He is also set to lead the attack when they take on Venezuela at the Copa America later in the day.
