MLS: HERNANDEZ HITS SUPERB TREBLE

LA Galaxy striker Javier Hernandez is in the form of his life after a sensational start to the new Major League Soccer (MLS) season. The Mexican international player has scored five goals in his first two games in the league this season including three goals in the home game against New York Red Bulls at the weekend.

Javier Hernandez started the season with a brace against Inter Miami under new manager Phil Neville. English manager Neville started his reign at Inter Miami with a defeat thanks to the abovementioned Mexican national team player. His two goals propelled LA Galaxy to an impressive 3-2 away win at the expense of Neville and his players. It was the opening game of the season for both Inter Miami and LA Galaxy.

In the second game of the new MLS season for LA Galaxy, Javier Hernandez scored a treble to lead his team to a 3-2 at home to New York Red Bulls thus taking his tally to five goals.

Javier Hernandez is the early pacesetter in the race for the highest goalscorer and his goals have prompted LA Galaxy to two straight wins. They are the only team with two victories from two games at the start of the new MLS season.

It has been a remarkable turnaround for Hernandez at LA Galaxy after he scored just two goals throughout the whole of the 2020 MLS season. His form in the colours of LA Galaxy has taken the club to the top of the Western Conference. If Javier Hernandez maintains his form for LA Galaxy this season, the club might go on to achieve big things.

Andrew Gutmanand Cristian Casseresscored the two goals for New York Red Bulls who ended on the losing side despite finding the back of the net twice. The visitors are the only team to lose the first two games of the season in the 2021 MLS season.
